Made using Photoshop CC, for Final Update Photomanipulation-Tournament by ED-Creations.
This is my first proper photomanip in two weeks, and I'm so glad it turned out really well. I would have been especially frustrated if it didn't, since I haven't made art in so long. It's a spirit animal piece, and yet... it's not. I created this with the contest theme in mind: Make a work representing spring and use a child, a moon and a pond in it. I used the koi to represent the pond part here. Now that I see it... it would actually have been good if I created this to be part of the series... oh well.

In exploring Fish symbolism and meanings it’s important to consider these creatures' intimate and life-sustaining relationship with Water. The Water Element connection gives Fish spirit the connotation of the subconscious, emotions, healing and purification. Source

From this explanation, I'd like to say that the Fish spirit represents healing and purification here. I always see spring as a season for new beginnings and such, so there it is.
